JetBlue +1 Good Job – Verizon -1 Get A Clue – Customer Service

I read the story in the LA Times today by David Lazarus that describes how customers are treated by two large companies, JetBlue and Verizon.

Verizon failed miserably.

JetBlue scored points with me.

So what is really behind poor to horrible customer service? Is it really the script, is it unhappy workers, is it companies not allowing service reps to connect with customers. Are these cases isolated?

I would venture that we have a trend of positive stories on JetBlue and bad experiences about Verizon.

Read the touching story, is being human that hard for companies? Verizon please pay attention as the damage you do with policies can cause long lasting effects.  I for one HAD considered your company for services and now will thing twice based on this and other stories.

The story was just posted and there are already 22 comments. Most of them talking about how bad customer service is, and others chiming in that AT&T is even worse, which I can attest.

Tell Rep. Schiff to Set the Record Straight on AT&T – Duped by AT&T

SavetheInternet.com

Tell Rep. Schiff to Set the Record Straight on AT&T.

Dear Friend,

Your representative, Rep. Adam Schiff, was among 76 House Democrats who were duped by AT&T.1 It’s now time for him to set the record straight and oppose the company’s merger with T-Mobile.

In late June Rep. Schiff signed a letter echoing AT&T’s claim that merging with T-Mobile is the only way it can extend its mobile network to 97 percent of the population. Rep. Schiff also signed on to the claim that this merger will “create thousands of jobs … which will greatly contribute to our continuing economic recovery.”

We now know that none of AT&T’s claims are true. Earlier this month an AT&T lawyer inadvertently leaked a document that revealed AT&T can accomplish its network buildout for one-tenth the cost of acquiring T-Mobile.2 And despite AT&T’s insistence that the deal will spur job growth, the merger will cost an estimated 20,000 American jobs.3, 4

Now that the facts are known, Rep. Schiff must correct the record by taking his name off the June letter.

Click here to call Rep. Schiff’s office right now. We have provided talking points that will help you make the call.

The prospects for killing this disastrous deal have never been greater. If enough people from Rep. Schiff’s district call, he will do the right thing and remove his name from the letter.

AT&T must pay the price for its lies. We can make this happen. Please make the call.

Thank you,
