ICYMI: Tomorrow is the Last Day to Enter Lakers Season Ticket Vaccination Sweepstakes!
LOS ANGELES, CA – Tomorrow, May 23, is the LAST DAY for Los Angeles County residents 18 and older still needing their first vaccine to enter for a chance to win a pair (2) of Lakers season tickets.
Walk in appointments are available. Residents can just stop by the following sites: www.publichealth.lacounty.gov/
Must be a Los Angeles County resident 18 years or older to enter.
With millions of residents still needing to get vaccinated, the Department of Public Health Los Angeles Lakers Season Ticket Vaccination Sweepstakes is an exciting opportunity that allows those still not protected to get vaccinated and perhaps be the person who gets to watch the Lakers pursue another championship.
Help Represent the City’s Diversity – Take the Pasadena Walks Survey.
What street improvements would help you walk more often in your neighborhood? The City of Pasadena is developing a pedestrian plan called “Pasadena Walks!” People who live, work, or play in Pasadena are invited to help the City develop plans for a safer, healthier, more walkable Pasadena. They need the entire Pasadena community to share their thoughts and input by completing an online survey. To more accurately reflect the racial diversity of Pasadena, they especially need to hear more African American, Latino, and Asian American voices. Help to make sure that Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) voices are heard. It only takes a few minutes. Complete the survey today by going to CityofPasadena.net/PasadenaWalks. Last day to complete the survey is May 31, 2021. Please tell a friend. Thanks.

On May 11, 2021 around midday Microsoft rolled out some sort of patch, that basically made Windows Outlook 365 desktop clients unusable. Trying to view and create emails became impossible as you type and hit enter the text would disappear.
Office are scrambling to get Outlook Desktop versions working and many have restored to the previous version prior to the update.
You can run this command and it should download and install the previous version.
C:\Program Files\Common Files\microsoft shared\ClickToRun\OfficeC2RClient.exe /update user updatetoversion=16.0.13901.20462
Alternatively some users have been able to use Outlook in safe mode and that also appears to work.
Outlook.exe /safe
The question will be swirling for days as to how this sort of patch could be released outside of the updates and without any level of QC and testing.
It could be hours before the update is received by users.
