What is Benzene?
Benzene is classified as a human carcinogen, a substance that could potentially cause cancer depending on the level and extent of exposure. Benzene is ubiquitous in the environment. Humans around the world have daily exposures indoors and outdoors from multiple sources. Benzene can be absorbed, to varying degrees, by inhalation, through the skin, and orally.
Daily exposure to benzene in these sunscreen products at the levels detected in internal testing would not be expected to cause adverse health consequences.
Out of an abundance of caution, we are recalling all lots of these specific sunscreen aerosol products.

Please complete the steps listed below if you would like to receive a refund for your purchase of the following products impacted by our July 14, 2021, Voluntary Recall: Aveeno® Protect & Refresh Sunscreen Spray, NEUTROGENA® CoolDry Sport Sunscreen Spray, NEUTROGENA® Beach Defense Sunscreen Spray, NEUTROGENA® Ultra Sheer Sunscreen Spray, NEUTROGENA® Invisible Defense Sunscreen Spray.

- Product name, size and quantity of items purchased
- Proof of purchase (picture / scan of receipt or single picture of all items) for refund request of 4 or more units
