A note on the Long Beach start/finish: We’re sad to say that we will not have a Long Beach start/finish in 2016. Unfortunately, due to proposed construction at the Aquarium of the Pacific, we are not able to use that space this year. We still secured Shoreline Park for a pit stop in Long Beach, but it’s not big enough to host a start/finish. Hopefully, we’ll be able to bring back the Long Beach start/finish in 2017. We apologize for the inconvenience, as we know many of our riders coming from Long Beach and surrounding areas enjoyed this start location.

Learn more about the L.A. River Ride and register at la-bike.org/riverride.

Thank you to this year’s L.A. River Ride sponsors:

Or… is there?

Join us at the Pasadena Convention Center for a full weekend of panels, debates, TV and movie screenings, art, podcasts, comedy shows, Q&A’s, book readings, interviews, meet & greets, art exhibitions, and music performances.

With 12 rooms ranging from 50-seaters to large-scale auditoriums, you’ll be able to get up close and personal with political heavyweights, revel in the endless humor with the likes of James Carville and Sarah Palin, dissect documentaries and parodies with filmmakers, and maybe even interact with a few of history’s greatest leaders.

Hand-tossed entrée salads, sandwiches, pizzettes, soups and braises round out the menu. Guests are advised to save room for dessert. Urban Plates’ in-house pastry chefs bake a flourless chocolate cake, coconut lemon cake, hummingbird cake and a signature mango tart, in addition to a seasonally changing variety of cakes and desserts. Beverages complement the variety of dining options. Selections include probiotic Kombucha on tap, local craft beers, wine and organic house-made juice replenishers in refreshing combinations.

Urban Plates’ friendly and interactive service is featured in an environment that encourages guests to simplify, slow down, and connect in an otherwise complicated, chaotic and disconnected world.
