The biggest threat to the maritime department is not the increasing cost of oil but the threat by Somali pirates. International maritime organization which was started in Geneva in 1948 is spinning its head to find a solution for this issue. The latest big organization that was involved to find a solution to this issue is the CIA. All these organizations are working hard to figure out one possible solution to stop the vandalism of the Somalia pirates, but in vain. The activities of the Somalia pirates is very hard to track and they disappear in thin air.These organizations need only one clue or loophole to solve the mystery of Somalia pirates but they couldn’t since its inception into the issue. Recently the Somalia pirates hijacked the Greek ship in the gulf of Aden. They came, they saw and they conquered are the right words to describe the activities of Somali pirates. The Eleni P is the unfortunate ship that was seized by those pirates. Even the comportment of the international naval forces does not serve any purpose. Reports say that The Eleni P was captured by the ruthless pirates when the ship arrived at the coast of Somalia exactly at 0600 GMT.
Hollywood most awaited film “Robin Hood” based on the legendary Robin Hood by starring Russell Crowe and directed by Ridley Scott was released. It was first released in United Kingdom on May12th and United States on May 14th after 2010 Cannes Film Festival.

ebay scam watch out for “Second Chance”
KTLA Chip Yost did a piece on the ebay scam where both buyers and sellers are scammed by a third party.
The seller is selling an item, in this case a car through ebay auto. The auto is sold to a buyer, and the transaction is done. Then a party that was interested in the auto that did not win is emailed by this third party that hacked the account of the seller, either to make it look like the seller is responding with another chance for this buyer. The buyer is given the chance to buy and just lost the money, because there is no auto to buy.
So buyer beware, double and triple check as ebay is fill of con artists trying to make a buck. I think for the story ebay did not respond, which is not surprising as they are constantly being bombarded by the media and the exploits that are out there, but they should respond to the media. It is really a buyer beware internet. Protect your indentity, change your passwords on your accounts and be cautious of the links you click on as they are probably not those of the original site, for instance. If you see ebay.com as the domain, that is ok. But if you see something like ebay-ppv.com or something like that do not click it. You can always go to the ebay.com site and login and verify that the message is there. If the seller’s account is hacked, you may have to send them an email to verify or ask them to call you. Still with all that you do, you can still be ripped off. So be very cautious.
