BP covered up the potential problems in order to keep moving forward the drilling.
The various components for the oil platform New Horizon burned and killed 11 platform works and over 100 had to evacuated.

One of the works was on 60 minutes.

Robert Bea was on 60 minutes talking about how the disaster will be and has been investigated.

The frightening part of all of this is that there is another platform that if something like what happened similar to the New Horizon it would be catastrophic.
