OSH Customer Experience

I want to talk about my experience at OSH on Colorado in Pasadena with Dwight. The outcome was good, but the experience at the beginning was a little rough. I accept some of the responsibility for the initial reaction.

I went in to the store to look at current week specials for barbeque units and after about 15-20 minutes of waiting around for someone to help, was told that the unit on sale was not available.

Apparently in storage in the back of the store there where lots of units in boxes and that it would take a few days to assemble.

I waited patiently with one of the store department leads who was trying to do the best they could.

The barbeque unit I wanted would take a few days to assemble.  I asked if I could ask that it be assembled and that if I liked it I would buy it. That seemed to start an area of contention with the store. I don’t think I was being unreasonable.

It was a little upsetting to have to explain the situation and that customer was a #1 priority for a store that prides itself on customer satisfaction.

So the manager offered a better unit for a great price.  Of the units on the floor none really met the specifications I was looking for except for the
