Burbank City Manager Mark Scott to Retire Feb 5, 2016

It may be no surprise after a dispute with the Burbank City Council that current City Manager Mark Scott has announced his retirement on a mutually agreed date of Feb 5, 2016.

Mr. Scott started with the city a little over two years ago in the summer of 2013.

The search is now on to find a replacement.

This makes two cities in the tri-cities of Burbank, Glendale and Pasadena searching for a new City Manager.

Mr. Beck, current City Manager of Pasadena announced he is leaving after accepting a position at UCLA.
Mr. Beck’s tenure was marred by an embezzlement scandal and tensions with Pasadena Police and Fire Departments.

Glendale City Manager Scott Ochoa earns a salary of $278,000 increased this year by 18%, from $235,000. 5 year contract.
Glendale City Attorney Mike Garcia earns a salary of $248,808 increased by 18% from $210,000. 5 year contract.

Burbank City Manager Mark Scott makes $290,000.
Burbank, City Atty. Amy Albano makes $228,000

Pasadena City Manager Michael Beck makes $292,520.
Pasadena City Atty. Michele Beal Bagneris makes $254,000
