Coachella Valley Indio International Tamale Festival this weekend.

2015 Winner Best Overall Tamale and 1st Place Commercial Traditional Tamale Sylvia’s Tamales

Approximately 130,000 people are expected to attend the festival, to be held from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday in Old Town Indio.

Admission and parking are free.

Parking is available at the County’s Administration Building, LarsonJustice Center on the corner of Highway 111 & Oasis St. Public parking is also available on various streets around Downtown Indio. Free shuttle services are provided to all festival visitors from the Larson Justice Center.
