AT&T T-Mobile Merger Battle Continues

There are those that claim it will be better for customers… I would like to know how basically eliminating T-Mobile as a competitor will help customers.
AT&T claims it is looking out for customers…ha. Anita Gabrielian, (Executive Director External Affairs Los Angeles at AT&T) was on KTLA talking about how they are looking out for the best interest of customers. How could this be true if they really don’t care now. Buying T-Mobile will enable them to all of a sudden “care about customers”?
AT&T is losing a customer, I for one am not happy with their service, dropping calls all the time and not getting 3G in areas without having to reboot my phone. It is an Apple iPhone 3GS, a pretty basic phone for most applications. And it suffers mostly because of the lack of attention from AT&T of keeping their network tuned for the increase demand. AT&T is happy to take the money, but service, is secondary. Of course there are people that claim AT&T service is good, but those are the people that live in good coverage areas and don’t travel much outside of those good coverage areas.
I still have problems at my home address, where I have been told numerous times that a new tower was going up and that the coverage would improve “significantly” well, still no sign of the tower being turned on and the service is spotty at best.
I have been a customer of PacBell, SBC, and AT&T for many years. This has been the most disappointing experience, working through the countless problems with AT&T.
