According to a LATechDigest interview with the founder architect Jerome Chang who opened the first Blankspace’s location in the mid-Wilshire area in 2007.
Blankspaces will be opening near the end of 2015 a Pasadena location in the Pasadena Playhouse District.
The location at 600 East Colorado Boulevard, is where Angel’s School Supply was previously located, and prior was a United Artists Theatre (1931-1990).

The City of Pasadena has partnered with Assemblymember Chris Holden and the Kidspace Children’s Museum for “Help Out We’re in a Drought” – an educational event for families (flyer attached). The event will be held Thursday, June 25 from 6 p.m.to 8 p.m. at Kidspace Children’s Museum, 480 N. Arroyo Blvd. (Stone Hollow Amphitheater).
Each guest will receive a family pass (for four) to visit Kidspace Children’s Museum! The event will include: exhibits on water conservation programs, information on household rebate programs, interactive workshops for elementary-age students on water conservation, and drought-tolerant plant exhibits. Special guest speakers include representatives from the California State Water Resources Control Board, Metropolitan Water District, Jet Propulsion Laboratory- JPL, and City of Pasadena. Refreshments provided.
