Amazon Free 5GB Cloud Storage – Amazon Cloud Drive

Amazon Free 5GB Cloud Storage

Amazon is offering 5GB free cloud storage which you can manage your music and much more.

Free Amazon Cloud Online 5GB Storage Drive, 20GB Storage Drive from $0.69
Amazon has Cloud Online 5GB Storage Drive for Free. Please carefully read full term & conditions for more info and privacy use.
Amazon also offers 20GB of Space for free with MP3 Album purchase.

Install the latest Amazon MP3 app to stream music from your cloud account. Android only (so far?)

QR attached

File upload size is limited to 2GB per file.

Buying an album gets you 20GB immediately (only for the next 12 months, if you already have 20GB, $20 credit toward any future Amazon Cloud Drive plan fees you may incur at the time your plan renews or at the time you upgrade your plan.)

Amazon Cloud Drive provides customers with reliable, secure server storage. Each file is stored within Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3); the same highly scalable, reliable, fast, data storage infrastructure that Amazon uses to run its own global network of web sites.

Access to your Cloud Drive is controlled through your user ID and password. All communications are encrypted using HTTPS, so that your data can pass securely over the Internet.

Do I need to make a purchase to use Cloud Drive?

No, if you have an Amazon account, you have access to 5 GB of free online storage on Amazon Cloud Drive. If you purchase an album from the Amazon MP3 Store, you may be eligible for a free upgrade to 20 GB of Cloud Drive space for one year (this promotion is open to U.S. customers only). New Amazon MP3 purchases delivered to Cloud Drive do not count against a customer’s storage space. If you need more storage space, paid plans are available for storage up to 1,000 GB.

What kinds of files can I store on Cloud Drive?

Amazon Cloud Drive allows customers to upload their digital files: music, photos, videos, documents, and more can be stored securely and available via web browser on any computer. New Amazon MP3 purchases delivered to Cloud Drive do not count against a customer’s storage space.

Do my Amazon MP3 Purchases count against my storage quota?

Any Amazon MP3 purchases that you elect to store on your Cloud Drive at the time of purchase do not count against your storage quota. You can see all the MP3 tracks that are not counted against your storage quota in the Your Amazon MP3 Purchases list.

Previous Amazon MP3 purchases that you manually upload to your Cloud Drive are counted against your storage quota.

Where is Amazon Cloud Drive available?

The 5 GB free storage plan is available to all customers, however further upgrades to the storage plan are currently unavailable in the following countries:

Austria Belgium Bulgaria Cyprus Czech Republic Denmark Estonia Finland France Germany Greece Hungary Ireland Italy Latvia Lithuania Luxembourg Malta Netherlands Poland Portugal Romania Slovakia Slovenia Spain Sweden United Kingdom

*Audio streaming is done through original bitrate (not resampled).

*Video streaming not available at this time.

*SmugMug, Zmanda Cloud Backup, Ubuntu One, Tumblr, SugarSync and Dropbox use Amazon’s S3 storage service. – So quit with how this kills Dropbox please. Dropbox/SugarSync are mature front-ends to Amazon’s service. Amazon’s S3 web upload is worse than FTP. It’s really only useful for a personal music collection. They do not provide public URLs unless you setup a faux account to allow friends to log in, but if too many IP addresses logged in, it would be quick to trigger alerts on Amazon’s end. Google Docs offers 1GB. Dropbox offers 2GB. SugarSync offers 5GB.

*Amazon storage offers one upload client for music (only mp3 and mp4a files supported): “Amazon MP3 Uploader” (…=200593730)

*Android users can stream music in Cloud Drive via Amazon MP3 Store app

NO sync tools currently. This will probably change in the future, but for now, you must upload individually.

Event Preview

Our program will explore how entrepreneurs can interact with utilities, government and the private sector to promote innovative ideas to cut traffic congestion, emissions and transportation. Entrepreneurial opportunities exist in many spaces, including extended range electric vehicles, charging technologies, “Smart Grid” interfaces, “first mile/last-mile” vehicles (electric bikes, scooters, or shared transportation) and software to manage the devices at home and on the road.

Come to this Enterprise Forum to meet representatives from all these sectors – business, local government, and academia – to brainstorm how to really change the world, one less parking spot at a time. Public-sector foresight can create alluring opportunities for the private sector entrepreneur. Getting in touch with the right people and being creative can help lead you to many opportunities.
