Home Prices in Southern California and Foreclosure Auctions

This LA Times Story is reporting that the median price for a Southern California home last month was $408, 000, down 17.6% from a year earlier and 19.2%, on average, from peaks reached last year, according to research firm DataQuick Information Systems.

RealtyTrac, DotHomes.com Link – reported by SoCalTech

SoCalTech is reporting that RealtyTrac and DotHomes have made a deal. DotHomes will provide foreclosure listings from RealtyTrac.

Irvine-based foreclosure real estate information provider RealtyTrac is in a deal to provide its listings to DotHomes.com, a London-based vertical search site, DotHomes.com said today. DotHOmes.com said that users using the firm’s site today can now quickly search and click through to foreclosed home listings on RealtyTrac. The deal covers more than 400,000 foreclosure listings across the United States. Financial deals of the arrangement were not released. RealtyTrac provides an online, national database of homes in various states of foreclosure; the firm provides its listing through its own web site, along with MSN, Yahoo! and other web sites.
