Are you one of the countless people looking for help from your bank or mortgage company only to have been turned down after several requests for help with a loan modification?
Tomorrow Jan 20, 2011, at the LA Sports Arena, a workshop is being held to help those who have been seeking help.
As we have been reading in the press, foreclosure rates are rising and home mortgage defaults are increasing. Banks that are smart are doing all they can to help keep homeowners in their homes if at all possible.
We read about people driving from Stockton, CA to attend this event, that’s a five hour drive, where many homes are worth 50% less than they had been 5 years ago.

(Los Angeles, CA) – The nation’s leading homeownership organization announces the return of the most effective and unprecedented foreclosure prevention event in the nation. NACA’s Save the Dream Tour kicks off at 9 am January20th at the Los Angeles Sports Arena, 3939 S. Figueroa Street in L.A. Homeowners from around the country are expected to camp out at the arena hoping for a chance to save their homes. Thousands attended NACA’s event last year in California. The Save the Dream Event will run 11 days, It begins Thursday, January 20th at 9 am through Sunday January 30th at 8 pm.
NACA’s Save the Dream Tour has helped homeowners reduce interest rates to 3% or 2% and sometimes a principal reduction. Many receive a permanent restructure the same day.
“We are back in California because there remains a tremendous need to keep homeowners from losing their homes. We saw a massive turnout last year and we expect the same this time,” said NACA CEO Bruce Marks who has testified in congress about the effectiveness of the Save the Dream Tour and recommended ways for Congress to require lenders to restructure mortgages on a large scale. “NACA has shown that a permanent modification for tens of thousands of borrowers is possible when you provide lenders with the proper tools and require them to make mortgages affordable,” said Marks. NACA’s Save the Dream Tour has been one shining light in the mortgage crisis.
NACA’s Save the Dream event is open to owner/occupants and non-investors.
