Howard Marks
Mr. Marks is an incredibly successful technology entrepreneur that has
worked with a number of companies specializing in the video game and
online gaming industries. He is currently working as the CEO of Gamzee, a
company he founded in April 2011 with the stated goal of disrupting the
gaming industry by making games that anyone can play anywhere, anytime,
and on any device. He got his start in 1991 as a co-foudner and Executive
Vice-President of Activision, where he helped turn a brand that was
largely viewed as dead to a leading powerhouse in the video game industry.
Mr. Marks went on to be the founder and CEO of eMind, a software company
that he grew to be one of the leading providers of eLearning technologies
for the financial services industry. The company was sold in 2005 to
Kaplan, Inc. Amazingly, he went on to rescue another brand that had
actually filed for bankruptcy. As founder and CEO of Acclaim Games, Inc.
he did pioneering work with online gaming and served as Chairman of the
Acclaim studio known as Playdom, which is currently a top game developer
for Facebook. Come here about his incredible career and his plans for his
most recent startup!
