Cherry Time Is Here! Opening day is set for June 19th. from 8:00-3:00pm ; thereafter we will continue to be open on Fri. Sat. Sun. Mon. 8:00-3:00pm until picked out. We had a nice wet season and have an awesome crop of Bing Cherries this season, we are picking in the top orchard.

Hi Cherry Pickers,
The first of the Bings are almost ripe! We will be opening the first section of ripe Bings and Rainiers on Sunday (June 13) after noon. Then we will have several hundred Bing and Rainier trees ripening every week. From next Thursday (June 17th) on, the Bings and Rainiers will be perfect for picking. My suggestion is: with the Bing Cherries look for the darkest Cherries. They will be the ripest and sweetest. Some people like the Rainiers when they are yellow; I like them best when they are getting some orange to red coloring. If you go to our web site, www.upickcherries.com, on the FAQs page we have pictures of the different varieties of cherries.
If you haven’t already, check out our new Step by Step Cherry Picking Guide page on the web site. There is a link from the home page that says “Grab a Bucket and Then What”. Click on the picture and it will take you to the Step by Step page. I also just posted Freezing Instructions on the Recipe Page.
