**FURTHER DETAIL**
Since Council already approved staff to create an ordinance back in 2011, this meeting is being used to UPDATE Council on the state of LA County’s ban along with resolved litigations and answers to the many questions they had at the last meeting. The reason the City staff have not come back to Council with an ordinance yet is because they were waiting for Sacramento to pass a state-wide ban to save the cost of preparing their own ordinance. Although there will be no vote at this meeting it’s important to have your voices heard.
