On Tuesday, Nov 5th, Burbank Recycle Center staff will be recommending City Council move forward on amending LA County’s Plastic Bag Ban ordinance to fit in our City. This is the time to have your voice and concerns heard in front of City Council. (The bags in question are single use, plastic bags with handles.)

**TIME**
Meeting starts at 6 and public comments are usually done by 7:30. It could be earlier depending on what is happening that evening.
**SKINNY**
Each person will be given 5 minutes to speak. Must fill out yellow comment card and give to the City Clerk to be called.
**PARKING**
Free parking in lot behind City Hall. Enter on Orange Grove (one block over). There is also free parking in the parking garage next door on Orange Grove.

**FURTHER DETAIL**
Since Council already approved staff to create an ordinance back in 2011, this meeting is being used to UPDATE Council on the state of LA County’s ban along with resolved litigations and answers to the many questions they had at the last meeting.The reason the City staff have not come back to Council with an ordinance yet is because they were waiting for Sacramento to pass a state-wide ban to save the cost of preparing their own ordinance. Although there will be no vote at this meeting it’s important to have your voices heard.
