Today we are hearing that 99 cents is considering a move on prices above 99 cents. The first time in its 26 year history.

This is another sign of the times. 99 cents is one of the few places still left where you can buy items for under a $1.

I have been to 99 cents stores many times over the years and have found many great deals, from computer cables to spices.

This would be a sad move but at the same time if the product offerings improve the store could boost sales.
