Santa Clarita Food Truck Festival New Date
Updated New Date:
You’re getting this email because you or your friends had invited you to the upcoming Santa Clarita Food Truck Fest. Due to the expected rain this weekend, the Santa Clarita Food Fest is postponed until next Saturday, the 26th. The location and times are the same however, and the event website will soon reflect the changes.

Sorry for the inconvenience, but we’re sure you’ll enjoy a postponed day in the sun more than a cold, rainy event.

Santa Clarita Food Fest

Saturday, February 26 · 11:00am – 6:00pm

**** A number of you had commented that the previous food truck event in Valencia was cluttered and unorganized in part to too many people and too few trucks. The Santa Clarita Food Fest is organized by a different company and we’re making sure the same problems don’t occur.

The event is from 11am to 6pm, with different admission times (admission does NOT cover food).
11am to Noon: VIP only (limited to 500 people): $20
Noon to 2p…m: Pre-sale only (limited to 3000): $5
2pm to 6pm: Door sales: $10

The venue is a 300,000 square foot lawn, so there’s plenty of space and we encourage you to bring lawn chairs, blankets, etc. All in all, this should be a great opportunity to try some of LA’s best trucks and enjoy a great Sat. afternoon.

**************

Join us for the inaugural Santa Clarita Food Truck Festival on Feb 19th from 11am to 6pm. The festival will bring together LA’s top 40 food trucks at Santa Clarita’s enormous Central Park with a list that includes the following trucks. Early and limited admission is available for VIP attendees (11am to noon); pre-purchase (noon-2); and door sales (2pm to 6pm).

For more information and to purchase tickets, go www.santaclaritafoodfest.com (site will be up Jan 11th) and join https://www.facebook.com/pages/Drink-Eat-Play/186763821339819?ref=sgm for facebook updates.

Free 1000 Rollover Minutes from AT&T @attwireless @attmobile

1000 Rollover Minutes for its customers for Free when you send a text message “YES” to 11113020

Now that the Verizon iPhone has gone on sale to the general public, AT&T is dishing out 1000 free rollover minutes to all of its customers.

There is no catch that we have seen so far.

The wireless company apparently just wants to thank all of its awesome customers for, you know, not making the switch to some other carrier with Apple’s smartphone.

It is simple just text “yes” to 11113020 to be awarded the talk minutes — which will probably just pile up on top of the thousands you’ve undoubtedly already accumulated.

The bad news…. at least so far AT&T can’t prevent dropped calls, which seem to be getting worse, not better!

You will receive a message back:

Text from 11113020

Thank you for accepting our free 1000 bonus Rollover minute offer. Please allow upto 4 weeks for processing.

Bob Dylan to perform at Grammy Awards

Bob Dylan to perform at Grammy Awards Ceremony

Bob Dylan will be bringing his acoustic guitar to perform Sunday at the 53rd Grammy Awards.

The appearance will mark just his fifth performance on the show despite a recording career that dates back to the Kennedy administration.

He’ll perform alongside two rising folk rock bands whose work draws from the same well: Mumford & Sons and the Avett Bros.

Dylan’s first performance on the Grammys didn’t come until 1980, when he and his band were greeted with a standing ovation as they played the opening notes of “Gotta Serve Somebody.” That show was also the first Grammys broadcast produced by Ken Erhlich, who has done every broadcast since. Erhlich and Neil Portnow, president of the Recording Academy of Arts & Sciences, have been working to secure Dylan’s booking for months.

The Grammys air Sunday on CBS at 8 p.m. PST.
