Connect a Sonos ZonePlayer S5 or ZoneBridge to your router to wirelessly play a world of music in every room of your house

Enjoy the songs through the wireless system and listen in each room of your home only through Sonos ZonePlayer S5 or ZoneBridge.

With the help of the system, you can listen to any song from any room and also control it without wire. First Zoneplayer is installed in any room or rooms of the home and then through the Sonos controller, iPhone or with the help of the Sonos App, music can be listened in any room you are sitting.

Through the Sonos you can have access to million songs and stations including music like iTunes that can be stored on the computer easily, and also online music services.

Sonos are really commendable, a new innovation in the world of music. It’s really a great feeling as you drool yourself in your bedroom selecting your favorite song. What a fun it is when you feel like rocking while hearing jazz from one room, while Latin from the other room. You can also easily make the adjustment of the volume from one room to the other room. If you want you can also synchronize in the way that the same kind of music is played in each room as you enjoy.

Sonos ZonePlayer S5 is really commendable, and of course wonderful with the fun of it being you can control the music and make others in the home to enjoy the same.

There are a few orange groves left where you can catch a glimpse of what the Los Angeles basin looked like over 100 years ago.

4. Ann Bothwell Ranch in Woodland Hills, established in 1934, a 14 acre orange grove

The best bet is the Orcutt Ranch in Canoga Park, here’s more details:

Every year the ranch opens its orchards to the public in July and again after Thanksgiving for self-picked grapefruit.

The fees – $2 per full grocery bag or $5 for a medium-size boxful – are used to purchase supplies for the 24-acre ranch.

“It’s all organic fruit,” said Brad Haynes, park maintenance supervisor. “A lot of people don’t know Don’t know (DK, DKed)

“Don’t know the trade.” A Street expression used whenever one party lacks knowledge of a trade or receives conflicting instructions from the other party.  you can come out and pick natural fruit.”

Organizations that feed the homeless are allowed to pick for free as often as they want at the former working ranch. Other fruit drops to the ground and is recycled back into the soil.

Haynes said the twice-a-year fruit picking for personal use is to let residents know about the ranch off Roscoe Boulevard.

The Spanish-style estate, built in 1921 as a vacation home Vacation Home

A home separate from an individual’s primary residence that is used for recreational purposes and may also be rented out at unused times.

Besides the 16 acres of citrus trees, the ranch includes more than 500 rose bushes, a 700-year-old oak tree with a 33-foot circumference and an area where local residents can rent a plot and raise their own fruits and vegetables.

Cable Company Modem Router Leasing

It is pretty amazing that cable companies like Charter pull a fast one on their customers by charging them $9.99 for a modem/router lease. The same device can be purchased on ebay and from various sellers for $20!!! yes $20  for something that Charter charges $9.99 per month! What a scam. Do the offer to sell it to customers? Or is it what you have is not compatible, so you need this.

Why are companies allowed to continue these deceptive practices? It is not fair to consumers and needs to be stopped.

As a consumer you need to question all charges and ask questions. If you don’t understand what a charge is ask. Hold the companies accountable.

Waste Companies Recycling

Do large waste companies really recycle?

This topic came up during a workshop in Pasadena regarding the open spaces program. Also of interest can there be a 0% to landfill waste program? Can all waste be recycled is probably a better question.

There should be a rating system of sorts, or a qualification system that in order to operate in a city limit the company needs to be approved and offer recycling services. Some level of recycling by the waste pickup company is mandatory.

WiGig upgrade WiFi

Those of us who use WiFi wireless connections should get ready for WiGig, the latest revision of WiFi wireless connectivity.

The Wireless Gigabit Alliance is the organization behind the new standard.

What is the Wireless Gigabit Alliance?

WiGig Alliance was established by technology leaders within the CE, PC, semiconductor and handheld industries to address the need for faster, wireless connectivity between computing, communications and entertainment devices. The organization has developed a unified specification that allows devices to communicate at multi-gigabit speeds never before experienced with wireless technology.

Our mission is to establish a global ecosystem of high-speed and easy-to-use wireless devices that work together seamlessly to connect people in the digital age. WiGig technology enables multi-gigabit wireless communications among consumer electronics, handheld devices and PCs, and drives industry convergence to a single radio using the readily available, unlicensed 60 GHz spectrum.

Specifications

Designed to address the specific requirements of various platforms, our 60 GHz technology will enable the broadest ecosystem of interoperable systems. It does not need to be retrofitted or adapted for future applications. The WiGig technology has also been adapted to coexist with millions of wireless devices already in use around the world.

Specification Highlights

The WiGig version 1.0 specification includes the following key elements:

  • Supports data transmission rates up to 7 Gbps – more than 10x faster than the highest 802.11n rate
  • Supplements and extends the 802.11 Medium Access Control (MAC) layer and is backward compatible with the IEEE 802.11 standard
  • Physical layer enables both the low power and the high performance WiGig devices, guaranteeing interoperability and communication at gigabit rates
  • Protocol adaptation layers are being developed to support specific system interfaces including data buses for PC peripherals and display interfaces for HDTVs, monitors and projectors
  • Support for beamforming, enabling robust communication at distances beyond 10 meters
  • Widely used advanced security and power management for WiGig devices
