Samsung Google Chromebook Review Experience

So I purchased a Samsung Google Chromebook. Paid $499+ tax and shipping so it came to about $550.

The computer on first appearance looks good, slim.
The screen is pretty good, clear, crips.

The power adapter seems a little fragile.

Is the Chromebook better than a netbook? I would say that no. I would prefer my netbook over the Chromebook. At least at this stage, maybe as things develop.

On turning it on I noticed that the left click was sticking. Anyone else have this problem? It seems to get stuck and unstuck randomly. So I called Samsung and this is what I dealt with…

Well so far my experience with the sticking left click and the trackpad seems unresponsive at times.  Is there a problem?

So I called Samsung : 1-800-SAMSUNG
24 hrs a day , 7 days a week
I have to give credit to Samsung for have people answer the phones who are local to the country of the call.

Navigated the phone system and got someone on the phone pretty quick, who basically told me to return it. I told them that Guilt would jot accept a return.

So they setup a return, basically

Ticket # 3000656980

Transfer exchange

So there are two issues right out of the box with this Samsung Google Chromebook.

1. The trackpad intermittently not responsive.

2. The left click getting stuck

Now the issue is that I have to return the Chromebook for service pack it up and send it back to Samsung.

I just bought this thing and it is failing.

The best they could offer is to send me a shipping label and package the Chromebook up and send it in for repair.

If you want to complain about this process you can write to: Samsung Corporate Offices
Office of the President
85 Challenger Road, 7th floor
Ridgefield Park, NJ 07660

That’s pretty much it. So would you buy a Chromebook knowing that you can have this sort of experience? Where you buy it from and what sort of warranty you get with it also matters.
