iRobot Roomba Battery Replacement.
Have you had troubles with your Roomba battery?
About a month after we purchased our Roomba we noticed that the battery was not really holding a charge. Now the light will turn green to indicate a full charge and you unplug it and let it go and it dies in less than 5 seconds.

This are the instructions I received from iRobot.
We apologize for the inconvenience you have experienced. If you have been noticing decreased battery runtime, you may be able to replenish the battery by resetting the robot and recharging the battery. We also recommend that you keep the main brushes clean in order to reduce the strain on the battery.
First, complete the following reset on your robot:
a. Remove the battery from the Roomba.
b. Press and hold the POWER button on the Roomba for 5 seconds.
c. Reinstall the battery into the Roomba.
Next, charge the Roomba for 16 hrs OR until the POWER/CLEAN light turns solid green.
a. If the light does NOT turn solid green after 16 hrs, please let us know and skip to the bottom to provide the requested information.
b. If the light DOES turn solid green, press MAX or CLEAN, running the robot without the Home Base® present until the battery is fully depleted. If the run time did not increase, please let us know.

After this the response was they will give you a 15% discount, if you push it you can get 20%, that is still way more than you can get a battery from a third party that is rated higher than the Roomba original. $40 for what iRobot is charging $70.
