Funny Taxi Driver Story: Cab Runs out Gas

This story as told by Vince Bradley from WTG.

Interpreted by Victor Caballero

Vince was with some agents in Phoenix for a gathering of telecom industry professionals, they grabbed a cab late at night to get back to their hotel after some meetings. The cab driver was apparently low on gas as the fuel indicator must have been on for some time, getting close to the hotel the car begun to sputter, the driver confident that their was enough fuel in the tank to get to the gas station proclaimed “there are pockets in their”, meaning that there was still fuel to keep going.

As the taxi sputtered the group got out and pushed the tax at the wee hours of the morning to the gas station.

The moral of the story, don’t push your luck with the gas gauge, once it comes on you better fuel up!

In this case for a taxi cab driver to run out of gas is even more hilarious.
