AT&T Microcell Fiasco, Pasadena Hastings Ranch Store Horrible Service

AT&T just can’t seem to get customer service right.

Today I was told by a store rep that the Microcell would not be available until August 21, 2010, that’s next week. The representatives on duty at the store in Pasadena(two women) are rude and arrogant. She basically laughed at me like I was crazy.

I told her that a rep with AT&T named Bernie or Bernard had told me to come to the store TODAY to pickup the Microcell.

It’s not so much that the Microcell was not available, but the way I was treated as a customer.   These two women need retraining, on how to deal with customers.  To laugh at a customer for asking for something that was told to them by another AT&T employee is absurd.   On top of that there was no manager in duty at the time I went to the store.

Initially I had a good experience at this store, but this has changed for the worse with these representatives. I’ll have to see if the rep I dealt with is still working there.

AT&T: you must be reading these postings, as there are numerous problems with the way your customer service operations are run. Not only can I not get a hold of a rep or leave them a message, which to me is absurd. I have been talking to this rep who I believe is in a customer retention escalation division, and I have to wait for him to call me as I cannot call him direct and leave a message. This is crazy. Who is running /ruining this company?
