This past Monday at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in San Francisco, Apple announced the upcoming release of its new iOS5- iOperating System 5 – expected to be available this fall.

The major update will include over 200 new features for the iPhone, iPad, and iTouch, this upgrade is really expected to pack a punch for users. Enhancements to notifications, improvements to the social media experience, an even better texting experience, and new ways to use apps promise to make our lives easier.

The good news is that iOS 5 will be available for the iPhone 3G after all. (It was rumored that it would not be.)
