Apple iPad Mini Release Event Live Streaming

Apple iPad Mini Release Event

In the next couple of hours Apple will begin to reveal the new products ahead of the 2012 holiday season. Expect a new iPad, name tbd, but we expect iPad mini. Also, new updated MacBook Pro 13 with retina displays.

Apple will be streaming the event live, link here. So an iPad will do.

But apparently it requires an iOS device to watch the stream.

Apple releases their products ahead of the anticipated Samsung release event taking place for the Galaxy II Note tomorrow.

Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Release Phone Tablet

The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is Samsung’s next-generation phablet(phone and tablet) massive 5.5-inch HD display, which a tad bigger than the screen found on the original Galaxy Note.

Airview, Airwave, Airplay popups, with airview, is like a mouse, refined S pen. Rich button, new rubberized polymer, fantastic device. 1.6 ghz.

All major US carriers have signed on to sell and support the new Samsung Glaxy Note 2.

It also features 4G LTE speeds paired with a quad-core processor, two cameras, 2GB of RAM, a
new S-Pen that will allow users to draw and write directly on the screen, and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean out of the box.

With the Apple Mini iPad being released tomorrow, Samsung has to be releasing or making an announcement soon. We are also learning that Samsung has terminated its relationship with Apple as a supplier or displays. So Apple will now have to find another supplier to fill the huge demand. Seems like the spat between Apple and Samsung continues.

Could there be 24 skus? Apple could be revamping the current iPad as well.

Green Street Restaurant Pasadena No Longer Allows Dogs on Patio @gsrestaurant

Green Street Restaurant Pasadena No Longer Allows Dogs on Patio

After countless visits to Green Street Restaurant in Pasadena we visited yesterday for a brunch and discovered that dogs are no longer allowed on the patio.

Very sad indeed. Not sure what may have happened, perhaps a dog fight or maybe someone was bit by a dog. After many years of allowing dogs on the patio they are no longer allowed. I understand that it is difficult to distinguish one dog from another in terms of behavior or what will set of a dog.

There are other restaurants that do allow dogs. Such as Mike and Anne’s in South Pasadena, but you are restricted to a walkway area, not the enclosed patio area.

Plate 38 still allows dogs on their outdoor patio, just enter through the side door.

And there are many other locations, while most people would say, leave your dog home, others would argue that well behaved dogs should be allowed to dine with their owners, eateries that make accommodations for dog owners, are sure to see a increase in their business.

Pasadena Home Inspector Review Keith Morgan

We had Keith Morgan do a home inspection.

He locked himself in one room and got out through the window. Yeah. very odd.  Then after doing what appeared to be a brief inspection of the crawl space gave it a clear report.

Which is where we had the biggest issue with the inspection, the house had a previous mold problem and Keith did not report or raise any alerts that the problem was as bad as we later found out from a certified mold inspector. The mold problem was quite severe, and would require removing a full deck and lots of insulation. In addition there was a leak that a plumber spotted, that Keith did not.

Also in his report there was no mention of drainage issues, and that there was a potential termite problem.

Overall I was very unhappy with Keith Morgan as a home inspector, after attempting to contact him via email after discovering these issues, there was no response, which tells a lot about how feels about his inspections.

For someone who claims to be certified and have many years of experience, perhaps a little complacency has set in and the inspections are suffering.

Here’s Keith’s info just for your reference. I suggest you speak with several certified home inspectors before settling on one to do your inspection.
