iPhone Sales Skyrocket

Apple iPhone sales are going through the roof. 10 times higher than previous sales.

600, 000 pre orders.

Crashing the AT&T and Apple sites.

Shipping yesterday, crashing the FedEx site, apparently due to an “update to the site”.

AT&T is not going to sell the iPhone 4 until next week.

Estimates are that 9.5 million units will be sold by next week!!!! WOW.

There are two lines, one for pre-orders, and another for new buyers.

What was Gary Faulkner, a construction worker doing attempting to hunt down Osama Bin Laden. Is he out of his mind? Armed with night vision goggles and a sword.

Sold his construction tools to pay for his trips to Afghanistan.

Gary is from Colorado and was in Los Angeles on his way back to Colorado.

Gary is an out of work construction worker who sold his tools to pay for his trips.

Apparently he has kidney problems.

SeedThru

Hi,

We’d like to tell you about SeedThru®, a new product that will change
the way you look at plants. Check out pictures of plants in SeedThru®
and a video of how to use it at https://www.seedthru.com/

SeedThru® is a clear gel, made from natural clay, that acts as a soil
substitute. It’s great for germinating seeds because you can see
exactly when and how roots are growing. Further, because SeedThru®
constantly rations moisture to seeds, germination is accelerated.
SeedThru® binds water and nutrients to roots of grown plants, so you
don’t need to water your plants every few days. Placing flower
cuttings in SeedThru® also keeps them alive longer than placing them
in water. SeedThru® will work indoors at room temperature, year-round.

SeedThru® is great for science projects and as an educational tool to
teach plant growth to students, but it can also be used decoratively
with food coloring, glass stones, beads, and whatever else your
imagination suggests. And don’t worry, SeedThru® is completely
nontoxic, won’t harm your skin, and is nonflammable. If ingested,
rinse your mouth and drink clean water.

We hope you enjoy SeedThru® and welcome your feedback on our
patent-pending invention.

Best,
Steve Lee

iPhone 4 Better Antenna? Will AT&T coverage improve?

Reports are that the new Apple iPhone 4 has an improved antenna which results in improved coverage in AT&T areas.

Right now I am sitting in my house with an iPhone 3GS with no coverage, after repeatedly speaking to reps at AT&T and explaining that the AT&T coverage map shows “best” and full signal 3G service.

Is this map really accurate? Nobody at AT&T answers the question, avoiding it with a map that they use internally, I have heard it all, but the map still shows inaccurate coverage. Anyone else having this problem? I am sure there are many others out there.

Here’s what I recommend to make my situation right, AT&T.
1. Issue me a credit $25/mo on each line until the coverage is improved to reflect the map that I signed up based on.
2. Waive any termination fees, based on failure to deliver as advertised.
3. Upgrade me to an iPhone 4 based on the claims that the antenna is better and coverage is improved with this device.

Yesterday a tech rep was supposed to call me at 7am, I waited until 9am and no call.
Later in the day I received a call from the previous rep leaving a message asking about how things are going. Dear AT&T Wireless Rep: No, things are not better, the rep never called me as promised!!!!

Here’s a link to the Engadget Story on the new design

The new phone, which goes on sale June 24, puts out more radio-frequency radiation than its predecessor, according to Federal Communications Commission documents. That, along with the new antenna, is expected to give the iPhone 4 greater signal strength and reliability.

Apple hopes the new design will counter one of the most common complaints consumers have with the iPhone: dropped calls.
