SeedThru® is a clear gel, made from natural clay, that acts as a soil
substitute. It’s great for germinating seeds because you can see
exactly when and how roots are growing. Further, because SeedThru®
constantly rations moisture to seeds, germination is accelerated.
SeedThru® binds water and nutrients to roots of grown plants, so you
don’t need to water your plants every few days. Placing flower
cuttings in SeedThru® also keeps them alive longer than placing them
in water. SeedThru® will work indoors at room temperature, year-round.

SeedThru® is great for science projects and as an educational tool to
teach plant growth to students, but it can also be used decoratively
with food coloring, glass stones, beads, and whatever else your
imagination suggests. And don’t worry, SeedThru® is completely
nontoxic, won’t harm your skin, and is nonflammable. If ingested,
rinse your mouth and drink clean water.
