Sears Kenmore Refrigerator Defects

We have a Sears Kenmore Refrigerator covered under a Sears Service Contract.
Service has been out to repair a number of issues, the most stubborn of the problems is the gasket-seal around the doors, that doesn’t seem to make a tight seal.

The gasket doesn’t seal properly and is leaking air, basically creating ice buildup on the inside of the freezer door.

I talked to Robert who is located out of Austin, TX (800) 573-8431. After explaining the situation he offered to have service come out one more time and if that didn’t do it we would talk about replacing the refrigerator.
The issue with the gasket is that the magnets are not made strong enough to create a seal, and if they are weakened then they don’t seal.
In my situation the plastic/magnet had become deformed probably due to a defect in the manufacturing, but it is hard to tell.
All I know is that I am really tired of calling for service and taking at least four hours of my work day to spend waiting around to have a service person come out. It is costing me thousands of dollars of my time all the visits.
I would like Sears to step up and allow service technicians to have a voice when making upgrades to refrigerators. I’m sure that many would have great advice and feedback to share.

My model is: #79577253602 – KENMORE ELITE Bottom-mount refrigerator
