Researchers throughout the world are now looking into the scientific basis for the therapeutic qualities of these foods.

Urban Worms: VermaComposting for the urban gardner. They can transform your garbage into Black Gold, an organic fertilizer for your house or garden plants. Urban Worms are hard at work improving our cities by reducing our landfills and creating better soil, one household at a time!

Bezian Sourdough Breads: are leavened with “Real” live sourdough cultures and not yeast like most breads sold these days. These artisan breads are all made by hand, and the taste…. unbelievable!

Miranda Barrett – Author of The Versatile Vegetable

Best Beef Ever! Grass-fed beef is very different from the beef normally sold in American grocery stores. Besides the incomparable taste, there are significant health advantages as well. Grocery store beef come from cows raised on feedlots, fed grains, hormones, antibiotics and things you don’t even want to know about. Grass-fed beef, on the other hand is finished on natural pasture – a diet which provides them what nature intended.

Culture Club 101 is a local grass-roots Co-op offering workshops, classes and Internships in culturing and traditional food preparation, You can also find them selling lacto-fermented fruits, vegetables and beverages such as Kombucha and original cultured Soda’s at the Pasadena “rain or shine” Farmers Market every Saturday between 8:00 am – 1:00 pm.

Organic Pastures Dairy Co. is family owned, operated and inspired. OPDC produces Grade A, 100% pasture grazed raw milk of super premium quality. The Company has been recognized repeatedly in independent NFO (National Farmers Organization) tests as having the best milk taste of the dairies surveyed.

Weston A. Price Foundation is a nonprofit, tax-exempt charity founded in 1999 to disseminate the research of nutrition pioneer Dr. Weston Price, whose studies of isolated non-industrialized peoples established the parameters of human health and determined the optimum characteristics of human diets. The Foundation is dedicated to restoring nutrient-dense foods to the human diet through education, research and activism.

Super Cane Juice in its natural raw, unrefined state is a nutrient dense food rich in chlorophyll, enzymes, amino acids, vitamins, minerals, policosanol and lactobacillus sp. (beneficial bacteria). Native peoples who chewed sugar cane daily had no cavities or diabetes! Best of all it is amazingly delicious!
