Fail to yield to a pedestrian? Get a ticket. Throughout the Los Angeles area many police departments are conducting sting operations to catch motorists that fail to yield to pedestrians.

In this case there doesn’t even appear to be a crosswalk…. which begs the question, what is the law? Does there have to be a crosswalk for the law to be upheld? Apparently there doesn’t have to be a crosswalk, as there are people getting tickets in this case.
