Kaiser Permanente Pasadena Marathon:
Status Report

Good evening, participants, volunteers, and supporters.

We are currently receiving a large volume of emails and phone calls pertaining to the air quality due to the fires, and concern about tomorrow’s event.

As of this moment, the Kaiser Permanente Pasadena Marathon is moving forward as planned.  If the event should be cancelled due to unsafe air quality, we will send out a message to all who are registered to receive our e-newsletter, and to all news media at 4:00 a.m., on Sunday, November 16.  Please check your email prior to heading to the Start/Finish site at Pasadena City College.

Without doubt, we are concerned about the fires and the dangers they present to those in the evacuation areas, as well as the impacts to Greater Los Angeles.  We will be in consultation with health officials, and if a decision is made to make any last-minute adjustments to our event, we will endeavor to get the word out to our participants and our community as soon as possible.

Thank you very much for your patience and support.
