SCLA: CenterStaging Now a SOUNDCHECK LA Company
Burbank, Ca: SOUNDCHECK LA LLC announced today that it has acquired the assets of CENTERSTAGING Musical Productions Inc. The company will do business as CENTERSTAGING…a SOUNDCHECK LA Company.
Ben Jumper, President and CEO, stated that “CENTERSTAGING, an icon of excellence in the music industry, will operate virtually uninterrupted. It now has strong financial backing and is an integral part of a network of rehearsal, backline rental and recording studios around the country. As a result, CENTERSTAGING will be able to expand its services to meet the growing demands of its customers.”
Jumper, who is also President and CEO of SOUNDCHECK Nashville and SOUNDCHECK Austin, further stated that “this is a relationship and service business. CENTERSTAGING’S customers can take comfort in the fact that co-founders Johnny Caswell and Jan Parent along with substantially all of the key employees and their production teams, are on board.”
In connection with the acquisition, SOUNDCHECK LA successfully secured leases for all of the existing facilities of the CENTERSTAGING campus centrally located at 3407 Winona Avenue in Burbank.
Lou Carnevale, General Manager, stated that “we have plans to immediately improve the
CENTERSTAGING campus facilities, add on-campus Industry offices, expand the existing 11 studios and provide locker services. We are excited about the future of CENTERSTAGING. We now have the ability to increase our superior suite of services while maintaining the decorum, privacy and discretion our customers expect.”
