Did you buy a KRUPS Open Master can opener and use it for a year or so and it stopped opening cans like it should?  Well, I have experienced this and it is not fun. The opener basically leaves cans with the top half off, with shards of metal along the edges, and if you try to use a regular manual can opener the top that comes off is not very clean and it is easy to get cut. Actually I tried it a few times and actually did cut myself.
