Fresh Fish Fanatics is a local, family owned fishing business that has operated out of Channel Islands Harbor for over 27 years. Chris and his hardworking deckhands are FANATICS about bringing in only the FRESHEST catch for our wonderful customers. For years we’ve sold our catch to wholesale companies who then distribute it to grocery stores and restaurants. Chris has quite a reputation among the few markets we’ve sold to for years. They all know that he works obsessively and goes to extreme measures to keep his fish in amazing condition. He knows how to care for his hard earned catch! He is what I would call a FANATIC! We’ve never liked the idea of our fish changing so many hands and in turn taking so long to end up at the person who will have it on their dinner plate! After all, fish is only super great when it is FRESH ~ and we mean REALLY, REALLY FRESH! As Chris and I talked this over more, we also realized that not only can the quality of the fish be compromised during this process, but the price gets bumped up with each time it gets moved around, and there is also the impact on our environment to consider. We decided we’d put our super fishing skills and love of our local community together and become FRESH FISH FANATICS ~ provider of LOCAL, FRESH SEAFOOD right from the boat to you. No middle men, no mark ups, no old fish!
