If you haven’t done the Technet thing, do it right away; Microsoft’s
bound to catch on soon.

If you’re having problems, you know better than to ask me. But do
have a look at the correspondence below; it’s from another list I’m on.
One odd thing – from the site where I saw the posting
(fatwallet.com), I see people are able to register using Firefox and
Opera on Linux, but are having trouble using IE on Microsoft OSes.
Slightly tricky thing – when I registered in Firefox/Linux, I had to
copy the “Benefit Access Number,” partially obscured by some blank box.
To get keys, I have to register, log off and log on.
(Haven’t tried it yet) However, downloads apparently require Active
X, so I guess that’ll wait until the next time I boot XP.
Update: Getting this error now, so maybe it is down.
Free Technet accounts were apparently an accident – those accounts were supposed to be invitation-only, were instead made public. Whoops.
