Dear AT&T – Stop Your Deceptive Practices @att @attcustomerservice @attcares

Dear AT&T,

The more people I hear tell their stories about the experiences with AT&T, the more angry I get. I even tried to call the office of the President and the hours are not what they say, the rep said they would be open for another 6 minutes, I call back in 2 minutes and they are closed! Why are the customer service reps trying to always upsell people when they only need simple things like a bill change, and then it is bait and switch, my friends bill went from $60 to over $240!!!! The rep lied saying that the bill would be less. I would love some help here.

My friend was only interested in changing the name on his bill, not signing up for additional services.

If the office of the President says they are opened for another 6 minutes then they should stay open. I called at 4:52pm PST and the manager said they would be open for another 6 minutes, I called within 2 minutes and the message was already changed to the office is closed! So now we have a telecommunication company that doesn’t provide reliable services, lies to customers, and doesn’t know how to tell time!

I’ve gone through this with my parents, they had a hell of a time with AT&T, I told them to call and cancel, and that they didn’t resolve it to switch to Charter. It can’t get much worse than AT&T when it comes to customer service.
