@Charter Internet – Worse Customer Experience, Service and Support – Down Again

Today marks probably the 100+ incident of problems with Charter Internet. It is blatantly obvious that Charter does not care about providing reliable business class services.
Cable Modem Internet Service from Charter has got to rank as one of the worse internet services at least in the Burbank area that I have ever heard of.
I had Charter at a condo in Burbank, residential service, it was down ALL THE TIME, I moved to Pasadena had it there, problems all the time. Apparently running a problem service for Charter is no problem.
I have tried dealing with the support reps, social media team, UMatter2Charter on Twitter, Facebook, online, posting blogs, nothing seems to get their attention. I even talk to their local district manager Jack, and things are fixed and then it is just a matter of days before it a problem again.
I have told them that I really don’t care what needs to be done, but that Charter has a serious service issue to start and then upstream from there, support and customer relations is in the toilet.

For a business class service, Charter needs to start treating it like a business class service, they are passing off already bad home services and charging business more for it. What gives charter? Do you really think this is going to work for business? I guarantee you that you are losing accounts left and right especially the ones that are experiencing anything close to the inferior service you are providing to us in Burbank.

Dustin out of Rochester is the rep I spoke to. He was rude, all he appeared to care about is to re-provision the line for what the contract shows, took us down yet again, and then talked over me for several minutes as I tried to explain that this is an ongoing problem and it needs to be fixed. I requested his name and his manager and he hung up on me.
The problems are ongoing and recurring, beyond just intermittent. The quality of service (QOS) for internet from Charter is miserable at best. The speeds fluctuate all over the place and if you try to connect to say AT&T DSL, good luck you will experience latency and packet loss.

A while back I sent an email to Mr. Schultz who is supposed to be one of the regional vice presidents. He never responded to me, the email box was either full or not functional.

Charter is so dysfunctional that it is amazing.

I’d love to hear from other people who have tried or have Charter Cable Modem service for their business to hear what your experience has been, because there has to be some people that have had better experiences and others that have had worse.

Let me know what you have experienced by leaving a comment below and if anyone from Charter is reading this, maybe an executive, they can respond and act on this, because, once we cancel Charter we are not going back, I’ll take AT&T DSL slower internet any day which is far more reliable.
