True Earth Day Celebration With Senator Liu at the Green Valley Expo on April 18

PASADENA, Calif., April 15, 2009 — Senator Carol Liu will bring greetings from the State and join in Earth Day celebrations at the Green Valley Environmental and Health Expo at Victory Park in Pasadena on Saturday, April 18.

At the expo, Lookin’ Green will debut its quarterly environmental issues and impact magazine. And in a letter of recognition, Mayor Bill Bogaard stated: “The theme, ‘Our Actions Today Impact Our Options Tomorrow,’ gives the right signal to all of us regarding the responsibility to be stewards of the environment. It sets the right tone for all of the activities that occur at this conference.”

The Marines will orchestrate a Flag ceremony followed by remarks from Councilmember Jacque Robinson. Speakers include Steve Julian; Keith Moo-Young; Ruth and Joe Hopkins; Jerry Robin; Dennis Buckley; Larry Eisenberg; and Steve Edberg.
