YMCA Pasadena Platinum Fund Raiser

PASADENA PLATINUMTM
Pasadena Platinum will take place May 7, 2009 in the Grand Ballroom of the Pasadena Convention Center. New restaurants added!

Pasadena Platinum event will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. in the Pasadena Convention Center’s new grand ballroom at 300 E. Green St.

A silent auction is an additional highlight of the event. Auction items range from vacations at 5 Diamond/5 Star Resorts to Hollywood Packages

The fund-raiser is being sponsored by the Pasadena, Convention & Visitors Bureau, Fed Ex/Kinko’s, Eclipse Advertising and Pasadena Sound Audio Visual.

Participating Pasadena Platinum restaurants include: Barcelona, Barn Burner, Barney’s Beanery, Boston Culinary Group, Camille’s Sidewalk Cafe, Dona Rosa, El Cholo, Green Street Restaurant, Green Street Tavern, Magnolia Lounge, Mi Piace, Roy’s, Ruth’s Chris Steak House, The Dining Room at the Langham, The Terrace at the Langham, Twin Palms, Villa Sorriso, and Wokcano

L.A. Music Academy will provide the entertainment for the evening.

The Pasadena YMCA is pleased to announce the Third Annual Fundraising Event benefiting the Pasadena YMCA, Pasadena Platinum, which showcases our community’s finest restaurants.

The Pasadena Platinum silent auction is an additional highlight of the event. Auction items range from vacations at 5 Diamond/5 Star Resorts to Hollywood Packages.

Your participation in this unique event will provide much needed support to the Pasadena YMCA.

The YMCA serves over 2,000 families and children, providing after school and summer day camp programs that enhance these children’s lives while assuring working parents that their children are safe and secure. Y-SPIRIT meets the very special needs of developmentally delayed teens and their parents. Over 1,500 families and their children experience the fun and benefits of playing sports and the YMCA’s leadership programs develop the future leaders of our community. Programs fees cover 70% or less of the true costs and many families require financial assistance to participate. The proceeds from Pasadena Platinum fill this gap for many families whose children benefit from YMCA programs.
