There’s been a run on the Apple iPad 2 in the past weeks, at the Apple store in Pasadena lines of people are waiting before the store opens, actually hours before it opens in hopes to pick up an iPad and turn around and sell it for a profit on ebay or craigslist.

This perfectly legal, until the supplies from Apple increase and then most people can buy one through regular channels. The problem right now is that suppliers of parts for the iPad 2 are having trouble with certain parts due to the earthquake in Japan. It could be months before we see the clear up.
