Here’s my video on the morning of the Pasadena Marathon cancellation. At this point there is no word on the rescheduling and if there will be a new date. The organizers incurred many of the costs in actually holding the Marathon without holding it. No idea if there was event insurance. Many have asked if there will be refunds. At this point I would just write off the costs. You got a t-shirt and the chance to participate in what was a sold out event. And in the grand picture, those of us not in the path of the fires should feel fortunate that the event was cancelled to protect our health. I went out and played tennis with a friend around 4:30pm and the air was pretty bad. So I could not see riding 26 miles in the smoke.
