What a sad story .. when you hear about animal cruelty, in this case in South Gate where horses are common within the community, a horse was abandoned and left to die, the poor horse had to be put down, after it had suffered due poor nutrition, and neglect. The horse was left in a cul-de-sac near the other horse properties.

We will see if the $2500 reward offered by the animal control department is enough to get someone to speak up.  If you saw something, please call the animal control office in South Gate.

Officers are going door to door to ask people if they saw anything.
