THINKING ABOUT AN ELECTRIC VEHICLE?
Pasadena-area electric vehicle owners and dealerships will roll up to Pasadena City Hall Saturday, March 31, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to show off their gas-free rides and answer questions from EV-curious drivers.
Free and open to the public, the Plug-In Electric Vehicle (PEV) Workshop and Street Fair aims to get Pasadena residents and businesses up to speed on recent developments in the electric vehicle revolution sweeping across California.
Drivers who are considering making the switch to all-electric vehicles are encouraged to register for a free workshop that day from 10:30 a.m. to noon at City Hall. A plug-in electric vehicle expert from CCSE will explain how to take advantage of current incentives of up to $10,000 and city staff will explain vehicle charging infrastructure, safety and electric rates. Local owners will discuss their experiences with PEVs in everyday life.
Workshop registrants will be provided lunch and will have an opportunity to test drive a Nissan LEAF, Mitsubishi i-MiEV, CODA and Chevy Volt at the end of the presentations. To register, visit www.energycenter.org/cvrp-
