KFC and El Pollo Loco are having a Chicken War Give Away

KFC offered a free piece of chicken Monday as part of their new
grilled chicken offering.  I went to the local KFC/Taco Bell in Echo
Park and noticed the homeless folks camped out at the sad Echo Park
Vons.  They didn’t see the TV commercials this weekend (obviously) and
they were thrilled when I told them of the free offering so off they
went for a tasty warm morsel.

El Pollo Loco has upped the ante and is offering a free promotional
2-piece chicken + tortilla + salsa meal to anyone who asks  One day
only!  Want to join me in escorting the homeless in downtown LA to a
