If you are a fan of cultured foods, get ready for some exciting news.
Culture Club 101 which closed its doors on Wilson last year is now working on opening at a new location on Washington and Hill, in what was previously The Archives Bookshop, at 1396 E. Washington Blvd., Pasadena, CA 91104.
On July 3rd, 2014 Culture Club 101 was shut down. Why? What was its crime?
Selling delicious whole, real and live foods as a private club. Only zoning restrictions prevent it from re-opening as a retail location, so it needs to move locations in order to continue to exist.
This corner/intersection has been very active with new businesses moving in and serving an area hungry for these types of new services. A new restaurant, coffee, baking, yoga, and more. As well as a new Domino’s Pizza, which is not very exciting for most, but it is happening.
According to an email we just received this afternoon:
