Here’s a weekend AT&T FAIL experience…
Currently 2, 200 DSL customers are affected in the pasadena/los angeles area and ATT will not replace the malfunctioning card.
After over an hour on the phone, was able to get a straight answer.  They have to wait until the maintenance window tonight at 12:01 to replace the card.  Yes 2200 customers affected and AT&T will not do the replacement. Rationale… keep 2, 200 customers pissed/in dark or stuck dealing with someone from off-shore support than piss the 8,000 on the card affected.
