Over 12, 000 people attended the show and we were able to donate over $4000 to our non-profit partner Greenwish. Thanks to all the vendors, volunteers and of course the fans for continuing to prove that LA cares about stepping out of the mall and supporting independent design!
The largest independent design show in the country, attendees get the rare chance to meet and shop directly from over 300 hand-selected designers and artists. The exciting two-day shopping event makes it easy for you to buy local and support LA’s economy, discover great design and deals, join in community, and have a blast! Over 95% of the products at the show are proudly made right here in the USA and over 85% of the vendors live in California.

Please bring the following to auditions:
- Completed application and release forms – One application per dancer
- ONE choreographed routine. Your routine should be no longer than one minute, thirty seconds (1:30)
- Be sure to show your creativity, style, and originality
- CD of your music – please bring an additional CD to leave with producers
- Come dressed in attire or costume that showcases your routine
Please plan to be at auditions all day. We suggest bringing snacks and water. You maybe asked to stay for a call back, please plan accordingly.

Artisanal LA is taking place this weekend. I attended this morning and was very impressed with the organization. Being held at the Cooper building downtown Los Angeles in the Fashion District.

If you already had a ticket, you would stand in line and from there you could go right in once you received your wristband.
The penthouse space on the 11th floor was very cool, the speaker/panel area was open, although the audio was a little low, it may have been the speaker or the placement of the mic. Very informative and the sampling was amazing, I would imagine many of the vendors at the event will most likely run out of food. Even the Fire Marshall and security personnel at the event were friendly.
The event run tomorrow, Sunday Oct 24, 2010, from 11 to 6.
