FURTHER PRODUCTS

FURTHER PRODUCTS are in themselves an innovative technology, or you can call innovative production, a brain work of Marshall, who further went ahead to produce glycerin products made from waste grease. They created a signature fragrance from the most important oils of Bergamot, Olive and exotic grasses to develop the most sweet and aromatic scent and mixed with glycerin to develop something unique and exceptional products like hand soaps and candles.

They pick up waste grease from the restaurants and refine the same in their garage. They then from their biofuel technology create a soap to return the same in the bathrooms from the same restaurants from which they were taken. In other words they use the old and used products and create new and fresh products out of the same. So you will have yet again new product with you. It is claimed that these products are biodegradable and are never tested on animals and above all these products with their fragrant oils tend to inspire your soul and freshen your conscience.

As you explore the internet, it is all the more advised to go further by visiting FURTHER PRODUCTS site and feel the essence of the same.

Pasadena Community Garden Project

At Earth Day Pasadena I had the pleasure of meeting Cathy Morrison with Pasadena Community Garden Project.
She and her group are being a movement to open up one or more community gardens in the city of Pasadena. Their model is much like the Altadena Garden, this is great news for Pasadena.

There are plenty of property locations that would work. I would suggest the Orange Grove dog park property, which appears to have land adjacent and across the street that seems like a great land.

Where ever the Garden lands I will surely make an attempt to be a part of it.

If you are interested in participating in the Pasadena Community Garden Project contact Cathy Morrison at (626) 441-8123 or via email at: pasadenacommunitygardenproject@gmail.com

Strawberry Stands in Pasadena

There are two new strawberry stands in Pasadena.

Thacker Berry Farms

Fresh

Strawberry lovers club

Sweet

Vine Ripened – Locally Grown

Now introducing Thacker Berry Farms to your community where the highest standard of Strawberry farming is realized!

Thacker Berry Farms is always searching the world over to find the very best strawberry on earth. We currently grow a variety called “Seascape”.  This variety is grown by the sea, and that makes it very special. Not only is the variety itself unique but when anything is grown by salt water the salt permeates the soil with nutrients enhancing both appearance and flavor. Vine ripened to perfection and picked daily, we are sure you will find these strawberries heaven by the sea.

In contrast supermarket strawberries are picked half ripe and then gassed with carbon dioxide for long shelf life and their variety is grown for production, not flavor. So tell your friends that there’s a new berry in town at “Thacker Berry Farms”

Tell a friend there’s a location near them.

For more info. on a stand hear you call Ted (562) 244-0485

One is located at the corner of San Gabriel and Foothill on the Eastern side of Pasadena.

The second is located on Walnut & El Molino at the site of the old Greyhound bus terminal.

I haven’t had a chance to try the berries, but will report as soon as I have had a chance.
Anyone who has tried them, please let me know. It is interesting to see two strawberry stands open up in Pasadena. I hope they have a good product and will be able to keep it open.
