Pasadena Smoking in Public Ban

Pasadena, CA – The city of Pasadena has passed an ordinance that will ban smoking in public spaces.

I am in support of this ordinance, understanding that cigarette smoke is unhealthy and nuisance.

There is a related story here in that I see people daily in their cars flicking their cigarette butts out the window while driving. Very bad habit, and a hazard. Not only do people flick their butts but they also throw lit cigarettes out the window.

OpenX Hosted Beta waiting list

Hello

Thank you for registering to be part of the beta testing for the hosted version of OpenX.

As we said, initially we will be inviting only a small handful of publishers to participate in some early beta testing. Don’t worry though, we will be inviting more and more publishers, of all sizes and from different countries, to join in testing over the coming months.

In the meantime why don’t you get started today by downloading OpenX and installing it on your webserver. We will be providing an upgrade path for migrating from a local installation of OpenX to our new hosted version.

Let us know if you have any questions.

– The OpenX Team

OpenX hosted beta

We’re currently developing on a hosted version of OpenX. This will make it much easier for all web publishers out there to use OpenX, since they won’t need to worry about installing or hosting on their own webserver. It’s a pretty big step forward for the OpenX Community and there’s still a lot of hard work left to do.

We want to get the OpenX Community involved early so we can shape the hosted product based on your feedback. As such, we are looking for publishers to take part in beta testing. Our first rounds of beta testing will only involve a handful of people, but we will involve more and more testers over time.

If you’d like to take part, just fill in the form below and we will keep you up to date with new developments.

Shawn Collins mentions that OpenX is offering a Market program as well. This from Shawn’s blog:

“The folks at OpenX also have a new opportunity rolling out called OpenX Market, which will enable affiliates to put their ad inventory out there for bidding by advertisers.”

You could signup for the Hosted program and Market programs.

Don’t miss making history with us on November 16!
spacer (1K)
  • While we’re thrilled to announce that all Race Day events are nearing sellout (we anticipate some categories will sellout within the next few days!), this means that if you haven’t registered already, you need to act fast! Click here to register for the Kaiser Permanente Pasadena Marathon today–before it’s too late!
  • We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again–we need volunteers! You can leave your mark on the inaugural Pasadena Marathon by giving your time and talents as a volunteer. There are hundreds of exciting volunteer positions open for Race Weekend. Click here to register as an individual, create a volunteer group, or join an existing volunteer group.
  • For the serious go-getters…we must fill a handful of key volunteer positions by the end of the day Tuesday (yes, tomorrow). If you are a service-minded leader, please consider filling one of the open Water Station Captain positions! Our one and only training for key Race Day volunteers is on Wednesday, 10/22, at The Westin Pasadena, from 6-8 p.m., so we need your response ASAP. Those interested in the Water Station Captain position should email li@pasadenamarathon.org with your first and last name, birthdate, mailing address, preferred email, preferred phone number, and t-shirt size.

Thank you for being a part of our success!

Amazing Grace Herbals LLC

Hello –

Thank you for contacting me and for your interest in natural healing.

I would be happy to help you in healing naturally but need to know more about your health and history before I can offer any recommendations. I do offer consultations and would be happy to schedule a time with you.

Consultations include in-depth research of the ailment, any drug/herb/supplement interactions, natural recommendations, diet recommendations if necessary and a report of findings which I will email after we speak. Consultations are help via phone for US residents and are held via email for those outside of the US.

There is a one time consultation fee of $75.00. I accept check, money order or Paypal as forms of payment. This fee includes all follow up emails or anytime we speak; I don’t believe in charging for every question or for anytime we speak. This fee covers my time to research any supplements, nutritional recommendations, your specific ailment and your medications

If you are interested in setting up a consultation, please reply with two dates and times you may have available. I host consultations Tuesday – Friday, 11:00 am – 4:00 pm.

If you are not interested in a full consultation, I do offer “email response consultations” for a one time fee of $20.00 payable via Paypal. This is basically for some minor supplements and diet changes that you could do without be getting into a lot of detail and research. I would need to know though if you have any allergies to meds or food and if you are taking any current conventional medications.

Thanks again and I look forward to working with you and hearing back from you.

Sincerely,

Sharon Hubbs-Kreft
